Vision North Texas SQ Sub-regional Workshop

AIA Fort Worth will host this VNT-lead event where invited community leaders will participate in a hands-on exercise in regional planning and visioning as it applies to Outlying Communities. Development scenarios will be explored using large maps and markers. In addition, the Project Team will present the Draft “Toolkit” to the group and describe how these resources will be critical in their efforts to understand and address the growth-related issues in their cities. The necessary volunteers should come from AIA/FW as much as possible. Announcements of the remaining events should be made at this time.

AIA Fort Worth Honors and Awards Dinner

This will be a celebration event for the chapter and will include dinner, a guest/keynote speaker and will involve community dignitaries and the media. AIA/Fort Worth will take this opportunity to describe how the Chapter intends to stay involved and serve as a resource for good design and planning in the region through the Center for Design, Speaker’s Bureau, and as a continuing resource for communities in the Dallas/Fort Worth region. Participants and volunteers will be recognized for their efforts.
